Canard Barnes, Founder
Mr. Barnes is a Southern California native who began his wealth management career in 1997. Having received a degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business, Canard spent more than a decade between two global wealth management firms and was later co-portfolio manager of an equity derivatives hedge fund. He has passed the Series 3, Series 7, Series 66, and California Department of Insurance licensing exams and maintains his designation as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor.
Canard’s personal interests include restoring classic cars and Los Angeles metropolitan history. He has held numerous philanthropic board seats over the last 25 years including Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles, California Association of Nonprofits, and Children’s Burn Foundation. He also served as Board Chair of the Center for Nonprofit Management – Southern California. Canard lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
